Meet Our Warehouse Manager and 2IC Operations Manager Isabella

Another fantastic hub team member is in the spotlight today! Let's get to know more about our Warehouse Manager and 2IC Operations manager. Meet Izzy Christensen.

What does a typical day look like for you at FLOWERHUB?

A typical day at FLOWERHUB for me is always busy. I am in-charge of the warehouse and keeping everything clean and safe. I make sure that all the orders are picked, packed, and sent to our customers. When a new product comes in, I process, grade, price, and take photos of the product before putting it online to buy. We are always moving and keeping busy. Not only do we do this for fresh, but for dry as well.

When you’re not working, what are you happiest doing?

When I'm not working I am happiest at the beach. I try to go to the beach with friends every weekend. It calms my brain and gets me ready for the next week. Sort of like a reset! If I'm not at the beach, I am at a waterfall or some type of body of water.

What do you enjoy most working at FLOWERHUB?

The things I enjoy most at FLOWERHUB, would definitely be working with the team. It's always such a fun environment. Everyone works really hard and makes it super enjoyable to come to work. It is also a bonus that I get to work with my Family. Working with flowers every day, and getting to see and smell such pretty things all day long is also amazing as well. I love how fast-paced everything is and how every day is different.

Tell us a fun fact about you.

I'm a fourth-generation flower farmer, florist shops and wholesalers. I’ve been working with flowers from the minute I took my first breath. That's coming on 22 years now!

What’s your dream holiday?

My dream holiday is to backpack all around the world. Start in Asia, work my way around, and then head to Europe. No plans, just a backpack and to go wherever I feel like going that day.

If you were a superhero what would your power be?

If I were a superhero I would be invisible. Think of all the things you could do and all the places that you could go, and no one would know!
